Lucy Wearing is a British make up artist and an Associate Lecturer/ Course Director at London College of Fashion University of the Arts London.
As a fine art student at Liverpool John Moores in the late 90's she tailored her degree towards installational art, and primarily the use of body art and painting. Lucy then transferred to the London College of Fashion where she she fell in love with the immediacy and transient qualities of make up.
Lucy Wearing has become one of the most respected make-up artists and lecturers in London. Hosting master classes and workshops in London, Bilbao, Dubai, Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong.
Her career began working for ID magazine and as hair and make up designer for Hardy Amies couture house, Saville Row. Lucy has since shot covers for publications such as ID, Stylist, Self Magazine, Shape, The Sunday Times Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Women's Health and Hunger.
After teaching on the Foundation degree course for 4 years at LCF Lucy created the ‘Complete Guide to Make-up Artistry'; she now tours the world with Ellie Goulding, and most recently collaborated with MAC as a leading creative for the 'Ellie Goulding MAC Collection.’
Lucy has worked with many Artists including Ellie Goulding, MIA, Rita Ora and Iggy Azelea.
